When I first joined Instagram I found myself surrounded by Americans and I wasn’t following any Canadian home decor accounts. I wanted to curate a more Canadian experience for myself, but finding Canadians on Instagram was challenging.
In the fall of 2019 I began the Find A Canadian project. Find A Canadian is a list of Canadian home decor accounts on Instagram to help Canadians find Canadians. To be included, the account must share mostly home decor inspiration and belong to a Canadian.
This list of Canadian home decor accounts on Instagram is organized by province and then territory, with Canadian ex-patriots listed at the end, with their country of residence. The list is also found in my Instagram highlights.
